Locality control in CCM

The importance of locality control

Because locality affects the ability and the efficiency of problem solving, controlling locality is very important for local-information-based problems solving.

The methods for locality control

Locality of computation in CCM can be controlled by addition or removal of catalysts or rule composition. The effects of locality control is summarized in [Kanada 96]. (It is also mentioned in [Kanada 94].)
